Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee received two awards for its outstanding work on Swachhata Mission campaign in the city at a function held at the Constitution Club in New Delhi on Friday.
JNAC City Manager Shakeel Mehandi received the Order of Merit Award for the Kabad Mahotsava organized in February this year by the JNAC from Sameer Kochar, MD, Scoch Group.
City Manager Jyoti Punj Pandey received the award for Swachhata flying squad set up by the JNAC to keep the city clean. The two managers of JNAC were sent on behalf of the JNAC to receive the award, said Sanjay Kumar, Special Officer, JNAC.
Kumar said the awards have greatly motivated the JNAC officials and cleanliness supporters of the city. He said the JNAC will continue its good work to keep the city clean and green.
