Jamshedpur, Dec 7: Several villagers of Lava village of Gunda panchayat under Nimdih block of Seraikela-Kharsawan put up a demonstration before a local company engaged in gold mining on Wednesday to protest alleged removal of many workers from job. They met the Circle Officer of Nimdih and handed over a memorandum to him in this regard.
The protestors said they had given their raiyyati land to the company in lieu of job. They alleged several workers were removed from job without prior notice. They demanded reinstatement of the sacked workers and threatened to block the company gate in case their demand is not fulfilled.
