Jadugoda, Feb 01: As per government directives, East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Ravishankar Shukla and a team of government officials held a camp on �Sarkar Aapke Dwar (government at your doorstep)� at Murgaghutu Panchayat in Mosabani Block. In his address to villagers, the DC said, �A team of government officials and staff members are here to attend to all your work at Panchayat level under the government programme, �Sarkar Aapke Dwar.� All appli cations for various government schemes will be reviewed and sanctioned on the spot and in case that is not possible, will be sanctioned within a bound time-frame by the departmental officers concerned. Now, none of you will have to run from pillar to post at government offices to get your jobs done.�
DC Ravishankar Shukla inspected the stalls setup and directed the officials to collect maximum number of applications and endeavor to attend to a maximum number of them and those that cannot be completed should be done so within a distinct time frame.
Many pending applications pertaining to Social Security schemes, projects and allied problems, payments were settled at the camp. 35 social security applications, 144 applications for ration cards, three applications for MNREGA job cards (one sanctioned), PMAY 35 applications, 40 miscellaneous animal husbandry applications were all sanctioned. 322 villagers were provided free medical treatment and given medicines.
Among those present during the camp were Mukhiya Kartick Hembram, all departmental officers of Mosabani Block, Panchayat Samiti and Ward members and villagers.
