Vikas Utsav organized at Chakulia

Jamshedpur: Baharagora Vidhan Sabha Vikas Utsav �Lakshya� was jointly inaugurated on Sunday by noted mountaineer Padma Shree Bachhendri Pal, economist Jean Dreze, Padma Shree Tulsi Munda, MLA Champai Soren and MLA Badal Patralekh.

In her address, Bachhendri Pal said the local MLA Kunal Sarangi had done a commendable job by organizing Vikas Utsav with the view to promote youths and encourage them to make progress in life.

Jean Dreze and Tulsi Munda too, praised the Baharagora MLA for organizing the event. He said all public representatives should organize such programmes.

Kunal Sarangi, while addressing the gathering, said the world is fast changing and the youths of Jharkhand need to march ahead by keeping pace with the changing times. He said the scholars, social workers, administrative officials and other dignitaries would greatly inspire and help the youths to get a new direction for their thoughts and action.

Senior IAS officer of Jharkhand Nidhi Khare and other several other dignitaries also addressed the gathering. The programme continued till late night. Various competitions are being organized along with a cultural event on this occasion. The concluding day function would see the felicitation of several people having performed exceptionally in different fields.
