Jamshedpur: A delegation comprising residents of Vijaya Heritage, sixth and seventh phase, met the deputy commissioner (DC) of East Singhbhum Dr Amitabh Kaushal on Tuesday and handed over a memorandum to him demanding measures to repair Marine Drive Road for the convenience of local residents.
The residents said the poor condition of the road was causing much discomfort to them on a daily basis. They said the road needed proper lighting and construction of pavement along with repair of the road at the earliest.
Due to plying of heavy vehicles, the road has been eroded, exposing large chunks of concrete and the stone chips.
