Vijaya Garden residents organize candle march for Pradyuman

Jamshedpur: A candle march was taken out on Monday by the members of Vijaya Garden Central Durga Puja Committee to offer tributes to the Ryan International School student Pradyuman who was killed in his school under mysterious conditions recently in Gurugram, Haryana. B Jha, the maternal grandfather of Pradyuman and a resident of Vijaya Garden, Baridih, also participated in the candle march.

The protestors demanded arresting of the culprits responsible for the brutal murder of the minor early in the morning. They alleged that police slackness had led the culprits to escape the hands of law for so many days after the incident. They said the Central and Haryana state governments should arrest the killers and punish them severely. A large number of people participated in the protest programme.

Among those present during the march included RL Raina, vice chairman cum former MD of Tinplate Company, Dr SK Tiwary, AS Pandey, Ram Kripal Tiwary, Laxmi, Supriya Tiwary, Kalyani Dubey, Shakuntala Sharma, Munni, Usha Mishra, Sanjay Jha, Hariharan Aiyar, Dr Dua, SM Prasad and Prabhakar Sharma.
