Jamshedpur, April 29: In a close encounter Vig English School defeated Chinmaya Vidyalaya by 2 wickets in the School league match played at Shaheed Nirmal Mahato Stadium on Tuesday.
Batting first Chinmaya scored 116/8 with Aniket Dixit scoring 46 runs with the help of 4 fours and 2 sixes were Jaydeep Singh from Vig took 3 wickets.
Chasing 117 to win Vig school with the help of Nehal 31 runs scored the runs in 19.4 overs with Aniket Dixit taking 4 wickets.
KMPM, DBMS play draw
In another match played at the same venue DBMS English School managed to draw the match against KMPM Inter College. Batting first DBMS were all out for 90 in 19.1 overs while KMPM managed 90 in 19.4 overs with 10 wickets down.
