Jamshedpur, April 29: In the inter district U-16 elite group cricket tournament played at Birsa Munda Stadium Ranchi beat Lohardaga by 49 runs crashing out the lohardaga team out of the tournament.
Batting first Ranchi scored 223/4 runs in 40 overs where Pankaj Kumar made 58 and Utsav Raj scored 54 runs. Chasing 224 Lohardaga managed 174 all out in 38.3 overs. In another match Khunti beat Deoghar by 16 runs.
