Jamshedpur, Dec. 5: Vidya Jyoti Vidyalaya, Gamharia students put up a splendid performance at the All India District Athletics Championship and made not only the district but Jharkhand proud.
School’s Abhishek Dubey in shot put and Laxmi Mardi in 400 mtr race were the top performers at the championship.
The students were felicitated by the school during an award ceremony held on Monday.
On the occasion Principal of the school Sunil Kumar Jha, vice-principal Gurpreet Bhamra and others teachers congratulated the students. Coach for the championship was Karmu Mandal.
