510 students, 19 schools, 1 spectacular show of science and creativity
Jamshedpur, Aug 1: Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Telco, emerged as the overall champion at Sci-Com 2025, the much-anticipated inter-school science and creativity fest organized by D.B.M.S. Kadma High School on August 1. Valley View School, Telco, secured the First Runners-Up Trophy, while St. Mary’s English School, Bistupur, bagged the Second Runners-Up title. Motilal Nehru Public School (MNPS) was honoured with the ‘Most Disciplined School’ award.

The event, celebrating science, strategy, and creativity, witnessed enthusiastic participation from 19 leading schools of Jamshedpur, with over 510 students competing in eight thrilling and intellectually stimulating events. Designed to promote innovation and collaboration, the fest proved to be a platform for young minds to explore beyond conventional boundaries.

Vijay Anand Moonka, President of the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Moonka motivated students to dream big, think innovatively, and lead with purpose.
Sci-Com 2025 featured an impressive lineup of events such as Innovation Incubator, Clue Detectives, The Digital Chronicle, Reklam, Street Glitz, E = mc², Buzzing OG, and Défilé de la Fashion. Among these, E = mc², Buzzing OG, and Défilé de la Fashion stood out for their creativity, audience engagement, and energy.

The programme was judged by esteemed professionals from diverse fields and was attended by dignitaries including B. Chandrashekhar (Chairperson, Finance & Legal, BOT), Lalitha Chandrashekhar (President, School Managing Committee), Anita Ramkrishna (Honorary Secretary), Bhuvana Krishnan (Treasurer), Usha Malini (Joint Secretary), P.S. Aruna (Joint Treasurer), Principal Gurpreet Bhambra, Vice Principals Suparna Roy and S. Shireen, along with staff and students.
Sci-Com 2025 concluded on a high note, reinforcing D.B.M.S. Kadma High School’s commitment to nurturing the scientists, innovators, and leaders of tomorrow.
