VHP’s Shobha Yatra marks Hindu New Year

Jamshedpur, April 8: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), Jamshedpur unit took out a grand procession from Shitla Mandir in Sakchi to mark Hindu New Year and Ram Mahotsav on Friday morning.

VHP has also put up Saffron flags in various locations for the event. The Shitla Mandir premises were also adorned
with saffron flag and a big portrait of Lord Ram was kept for devotees to worship.

The tableau of Lord Ram was followed by Shibha Yatra which started from Shitla Mandir and traversed through Tank Road, Straigh Mile Road, Sakchi Roundabout, Bengal Club before culminating at the Mandir.

More than 300 VHP activists dressed in saffron colour attire shouted slogans.
