Jamshedpur: Members of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Jamshedpur Mahanagar unit, have demanded arresting of people responsible for the violent incidents in Mango and Dhatkidih areas.
In a letter to the deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum, Arun Singh, president of Jamshedpur unit of VHP, said the incidents of violence had taken place at the behest of the leaders of Muslim Ekta Manch.
“Muslim Ekta Manch members had pre-planned the attack on police. They not only tried to disturb communal harmony and peace in the city, but also tried to take the law in their hands under the garb of protest.
Instead of organizing peaceful protest, the outfit members resorted to violence which was planned few days before the incident,” said Singh.
The VHP leader said the police should immediately take stringent action against the culprits so that they do not dare to repeat their acts of violence.
