Jadugora: Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL) management inaugurated a pump house in Hartopa village at Jadugora on Monday.
The total expense in installing the pump is Rs 15 lakh. The pump house was inaugurated by the additional manager of UCIL PK Nayak, displacement leader Somay Kisku and Mukhiya Malti Hansda.
The company officials said the completion of minor irrigation project in the area would facilitate irrigation of hundreds of acres of land.
They said the pump house was started under the corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative of the company.
