Jamshedpur, June 25: Akhil Bhartiya Kshtriya Mahasabha (Veerangana), Jharkhand unit, on Saturday organized a series of events on the occasion of 452nd Balidan diwas of Rani Durgavati.
The program held at Bistupur Club House was headed by the organization�s national general secretary Bharti Singh.
Dignitaries present at the event shed light on the life of Rani Durgavati and gave message to the youths by taking inspiration from her life dedicated towards the public interest. A seminar was also organized on the subject ‘Towards Dowry-free Society’.
On the occasion, speakers said that if one wants to give respect to the daughters then the dowry system must be erased and people involved in giving and receiving dowry should be socially boycotted.
One of the speakers said that if a person takes initiative�of not taking dowry during his son’s marriage, he will be felicitated. For this everyone should have a positive mindset and take the right step forward. �
Eight youth Veeranganas including Raksha Singh, Kriti Singh, Vidisha Priya, Khusbu Singh, Anjali Singh, Anamika Singh, Muskan Singh, Sonal Singh and Uma Kumari were felcitated for scoring top marks in the exam.
On the occasion Chandragupt Singh, Kamal Prasad Singh, Dr. MS Singh Manas, Jayprakash Singh, Shivpuja Singh, Rambabu Singh, Seeta Singh, Meera Singh, Sushma Singh, Vipin Singh and others were present on the occasion.
