Jamshedpur: Members of Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Mahila Mahasabha (Veerangana), Gamharia unit, organized Deepotsava near Vani Vidya Mandir on the eve of Deepawali.
Children were asked to safely celebrate Deepawali under the supervision of elders and use country-made diyas, candles and other items during the festival.
Firecrackers, sweets and chocolates were distributed among children on the occasion. The outfit members congratulated city people on Kali Puja and Deepawali and asked everyone to celebrate the festivals safely.
The chief guest of the occasion was the national general secretary Bharati Singh while the special guest was the state organization secretary Indu Singh.
Among others present at the event included Parwati Singh, Sobha Singh, Poonam Singh, Manju Singh and Anu Singh.
