Vastu Vihar residents meet DC

Jamshedpur: A delegation of residents of Vastu Vihar Welfare Society today met the deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum Dr Amitabh Kaushal to demand action against one Kamod Kumar Mishra alias Rajesh Mishra, another resident of the colony.

The president of the Society Sudhir Kumar Singh alleged that Mishra had flouted rules of the Society and was trying to disturb the peaceful atmosphere in the locality.

He said an illegal garage had been constructed by the accused. The Society members said the Society was facing financial problems due to non-payment of monthly maintenance by Mishra. They said the district cooperative officer had conducted a probe into the allegations at the office of the Society recently.

The accused meanwhile could not be contacted for his comments. Sources said he had denied the charges.
Those present in the delegation included Satyanarayan Verma, MK Singh, LK Singh, B Singh and KVS Trivedi.
