Jamshedpur, Feb 8: Vande Bharat Express train may soon run on the Tata-Patna route and pass through Tatanagar railway station.
Sources said the department officials have been asked to explore possibilities in this regard. For the time being, the train would not be started directly. It would run from Howrah to Rourkela via Tatanagar. The officials are also weighing the possibility of starting the train between Tata and Patna, sources said.
Currently, five Vande Bharat trains are being started from Howrah. One of these trains would be halted at Tatanagar. Officials are also planning a train from Howrah to Jharsugora via Tatanagar. A maintenance depot may also be opened here.
