Vaishya Samaj in quest of land for shelter home

Jamshedpur, Sept 11: The Antrashtriya Vaishya Sammelan (AVS) today held a meeting at its Jugsalai office to discuss the construction of a high quality shelter home in the city in line with the government hospital, new AIIMS Hospital and comfortable shelter home for poor patients and their relatives with good quality food at subsidized cost which are now functioning at Raipur in Chhattisgarh. The name of the guest house built by AVS has been named Mangal Bhawan. AVS Chhattisgarh state president who is in charge of the facilities there Sitaram Agrawal was present in the meeting which was presided by the organization�s Jharkhand chief Mohanlal Agrawal.

It was decided in the meeting that land would be sought from Tata Steel and the state government so that the project could get underway at the earliest.

After the meeting the AVS members visited the guest house built by Tata Steel for relatives of patients at the Meherbai Hospital in Dhatkidih. The members were impressed and decided on constructing Mangal Bhawan with the same facilities along with provision for 200 beds. The members present included AVS state vice president Pyarelal Shah, Shankar Mittal, Maniklal Sahu, Raja Prasad, Dharmendra Prasad, Rishi Gupta, Vikas Kumar, Dharikshan Prasad Gupta and others.
