Naman pays homage to brave Abdul Hamid

Jamshedpur, Sept 11: Hundreds of citizens including youths and women paid rich tributes to Paramvir Chakra awardee and martyr Havildar Abdul Hamid on his death anniversary on Tuesday.

Addressing the gathering at a programme organized by the city-based social organization Naman, the outfit convenor Varun Kumar said Abdul Hamid had sacrificed his life for the country. The youths of today should take inspiration from such martyrs and follow in their footsteps, he said.

Another speaker Brijbhushan Singh too, appealed to youths to draw inspiration from the lives of martyrs.

Others present during the programme included Vinod Jha, Akhilesh Pandey, Mahesh Mishra, Sushil Padey, Shekhar Mukhi, Sourabh Pandey, Santlal Pathak and Ramkeval Mishra.
