Motihari: Chaos ensued at Piprakothi Chowk on the National Highway in Motihari district when an airplane became wedged under an overbridge, creating a peculiar sight that drew a crowd of onlookers. The incident led to a frenzy of people capturing the unusual scene in their cameras, with a competition to take selfies with the stuck airplane.

The airplane, acquired by a scrap dealer in an auction held in Mumbai, was en route from Mumbai to Assam on a large truck lorry. As the truck carrying the airplane attempted to pass under the overbridge at Piprakothi, its body became stuck, causing a disruption in traffic on NH for approximately two hours. Despite the initial efforts of the driver, the airplane remained lodged under the overbridge.

The situation prompted a swift response from administrative officials, and the Piprakothi police station chief and his team arrived at the scene. After deflating all the wheels of the truck and with collaborative efforts, the airplane and truck were successfully extricated. The incident led to a temporary traffic jam on NH, but once the obstruction was cleared, people breathed a sigh of relief.
