Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary to visit Steel City
Jamshedpur: Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader Samrat Choudhary has assured that he will soon visit Jamshedpur. The assurance came during the Shaheedi Jagriti Yatra organised in memory of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji and his disciples Bhai Sati Das, Bhai Mati Das Bibi, and Bhai Dayala Ji. The yatra, which started from Takht Sri Harmandir Ji, Patna Sahib, saw the participation of Assembly Speaker Nand Kishore Yadav, Bihar BJP President and MP Dilip Jaiswal, and several other leaders.
BJP leader Satbir Singh Somu, who travelled to Patna from Jharkhand with his team, held discussions with the Deputy Chief Minister. During this interaction, Samrat Choudhary assured him of his visit to Jamshedpur in the near future.
Singer Sukhwinder Singh, the theme singer of the Jagriti Yatra, also expressed his gratitude to the people of Jamshedpur. On being presented handmade chocolates from the city by Sardar Satbir Singh Somu, Inderjit Singh, and Jagjit Singh, the singer responded with a heartfelt, “Thank you, Jamshedpur.”
Meanwhile, Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri, who arrived in Patna from Delhi, held discussions with Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee President Sardar Harmeet Singh Kalka on Sikh matters, including political opportunities and community prospects in Jamshedpur. The Minister suggested organising a special conference on Sikh issues in the city and assured his participation. He also interacted with Punjab Nabha MLA Gurdev Singh Mann to understand the situation in Punjab.
In Patna, senior BJP leader and former Union Minister SS Ahluwalia, along with the Jamshedpur team, deliberated on the social, cultural, and religious concerns of the Sikh community.
