Union Bank of India organizes MSME mega outreach camp in Adityapur

Jamshedpur: The Union Bank of India’s regional office in Ranchi organized a mega outreach camp focusing on MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) at the Auto Cluster in Adityapur on Thursday. The event saw active participation from eminent entrepreneurs, members of women’s NGOs and bank customers.

The program was attended by key dignitaries, including Seraikela-Kharsawan DC Ravi Shankar Shukla and Adityapur Auto Cluster Managing Director S.N. Thakur as special guests. The event was chaired by Zonal Head Baijnath Singh and featured addresses from Area Head Alok Kumar Asia and Asia President Inder Agarwal.

The primary objective of the outreach camp was to create awareness among customers about the various benefits available through the MSME products offered by Union Bank of India. Several customers who had already benefited from the bank’s MSME schemes shared their success stories, highlighting the positive impact on their businesses.

In his address, DC Ravi Shankar Shukla used a PPT presentation to showcase the abundant business opportunities available in Jharkhand, particularly in the MSME sector. S.N. Thakur, Managing Director of the Adityapur Auto Cluster, also spoke about the various MSME products and their significance in supporting small businesses.

During the event, letters of credit worth Rs 104 crore were distributed to customers under the MSME scheme. The distribution ceremony was attended by the DC, Managing Director and bank executives.

At the conclusion of the program, Rakesh Kumar, MLP Head, expressed his gratitude to the attendees and assured them that Union Bank of India would continue to support the growth and development of the Kolhan region by providing tailored financial assistance. “Union Bank of India will remain committed to meeting the needs and expectations of our customers,” he said.
