Unika Sharma takes charge as first woman BDO of Ghatshila

Ghatshila, Oct 9: Unika Sharma assumed charge as Ghatshila BDO from her outgoing counterpart, Kumar S Abhinav. She thus became the first woman BDO of Ghatshila. Kumar S Abhinav has been transferred to the Nimdih Block Headquarters.
Reflecting on his three year tenure as Ghatshila’s BDO, Kumar S Abhinav expressed his deep appreciation for the people of Ghatshila. He described the warmth and support he received, likening it to being part of one big family. He acknowledged that leaving Ghatshila, with its wonderful people, would not be easy.
The incumbent BDO, Unika Sharma, emphasized that her primary focus would be on prioritizing all issues and resolving them accordingly. She stated that development work would be her topmost priority as she took on the Ghatshila BDO’s mantle.
