Gamharia, July 10: An unidentified man lost his life after being struck by the Vande Bharat Express near pole number S/34, close to Birrajpur Station, located between Kandra and Gamharia, on Thursday around noon. The tragic incident led to a temporary disruption in train services on that route, causing inconvenience to several passengers. Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel and Gamharia police promptly reached the site, recovered the body and sent it for postmortem. Train operations resumed after a brief halt. As of now, the identity of the deceased remains unknown and the police are working to establish his identity and investigate the matter further.
