Jamshedpur, Dec 28: Acting on the directive of East Singhbhum deputy commissioner Suraj Kumar health department team is inspecting the ultrasound diagnostic centres in the city and as part of this drive, a team inspected the premises of Wellness Diagnostic at Safia Complex in Aambagan area of Sakchi on Monday.
The team led by magistrate Savita Topno sealed the two ultrasound machines at the diagnostic centre as the officials failed to show the documents of the ultrasound machines and started the department proceedings against the diagnostic centre owner.
Earlier, the team had inspected a diagnostic centre in Sidhgora and had sealed the ultrasound machines.
Incidentally, as per the guidelines of the Union health ministry the diagnostic centre have to renew license of the ultrasound machines in the new format.
