TWU polls outside company premises

Jamshedpur: It has now been cleared that Tata Workers Union election will be held outside company premises.

According to sources the members of the committee which has been constituted to conduct the election visited several spots in the city for identification of a suitable venue for the polls.

The visiting team members included ADC Sunil Kumar and SDO Prem Ranjan. The decision on the venue has not yet been finalized however it is now clear that the TWU election would be held outside company premises.

A section of the union members have already given nod for identification of a suitable venue outside company premises so that the polls are held in a free and fare manner.

Meanwhile the contestants of the election have kick-started campaign for TWU election to be held on March 9. Demarcation and identification of constituencies has already been done.
