Two women dead, several injured in bus-tanker collision on Rangamati-Silli Road

Jamshedpur, Dec 13: Two women died on the spot while several persons were injured in a collision between a passenger bus and an oil tanker near Jhadua village on Rangamati-Silli Road on Sunday afternoon. The Seraikela-Kharsawan police admitted the injured in the nearest Primary Health Centre and MGM Hospital in Jamshedpur while the dead women bodies in the passenger bus were extricated and sent for post mortem on an ambulance.

The deceased have been identified as Lakhimani Sari, a resident of Ichagarh and Rita Kumari, a resident of Barwadih.

According to locals, the tanker collided against the passenger bus from the side and overturned on the road. The tanker driver seems to have lost control as the  brake of the vehicle developed technical snag.
