Kolkata, Jan 12 (IANS) Two Trinamool Congress workers were killed and three others injured when unknown assailants opened fire inside the West Bengal ruling party’s office in West Midnapore district on Wednesday, police said.
Party workers were chatting inside the office in Kharagpur when they were attacked.
Srinu Naidu and V Dharma were declared dead in a Kolkata hospital.
The three injured workers were being treated at Midnapore Medical College and Hospital.
