Two thieves nabbed in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Jan 17: Mango police has nabbed two thieves involved in the burglary from a shop along Dimna Road in Mango on January 7 at around 4.27 am.

Police have also recovered stolen money worth Rs 9030 from their possession and the weapon used to break open the chest. The remaining amount taken from the shop have been used by the thieves.

Police used CCTV footages to nab main accused Vishwakarma Ram of Sarjamda under Parsudih thana area and during interrogation he revealed the name of Surendra Sandil who accompanied him on the bike on that day. Both have been sent to judicial custody.

According to East Singhbhum SSP M. Tamilvanan, the main accused Vishwakarma had been earlier to jail on several  occasion and had come out on bail recently.

During interrogation it was revealed that both used to come out of their house on the pretext of going for morning walk and used to commit crime and return home. They had stolen around Rs 70,000 from the shop but had used nearly Rs 50,000 for treatment of a relative at Raniganj and transferred Rs 15000 in the bank account of Vishwakarma’s wife account.

The shopkeeper Vishnu Agarwal had lodged a case in this connection.
