Jamshedpur, Nov 2: On the request of BJP leader Ankit Anand, many organizations extended a helping hand in the direction of making Dipawali special for two differently-abled brothers of Khapchadungri Basti in Ghorabandha. Ram Karmakar and Meghnath Karmakar were physically challenged resulting in their inability to move around. BJP leader Ankit Anand, on learning of their condition, tweeted late on Monday night and urged the District Deputy Commissioner and Kunal Sarangi to take cognizance of their plight. In a quick response, Kunal Sarangi assured of early cooperation.
On Tuesday morning, Rahul Goyal, a member of the Namya Smile Foundation and a chartered accountant by profession, expressed his desire to present one wheelchair to help these brothers to make their Dhanteras and Dipawali celebrations memorable. On the other hand, Rotary Club of Patna Midtown also provided a wheelchair. On Tuesday evening, in the presence of the founders of Namya Smile Foundation, Kunal Sarangi and Ankit Anand, wheelchairs were presented to the differently-abled brothers of Khapchadungri and wished them happy Dhanteras and Dipawali.
