Ranchi: Police arrested two persons including a woman in connection with the Naxalite attack in Shakaripara police station area of Dumka resulting in killing of eight people on 24th April last.
Five police personnel and three polling officers were killed in the landmine explosion triggered by the Naxalites.
Those arrested, were identified as Talakuri Murmu and Baburam Baskey alias Lambu. The two have reportedly confessed to their involvement in the Naxalite attack.
Cops said the two were given the responsibility of pasting posters with slogans written by Naxalites appealing people to boycott Lok Sabha elections.
