Two kg of silver stolen from jewellery shop in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, . Thieves decamped with two kgs of silver by cutting the roof of asbestos on Sunday night at Durga Jewelers in Bagbera police station area Lal Building Chowk. One and a half to two kilograms of silver and some gold ornaments were stolen by the thieves.
The value of the stolen jewellery is said to be more than two lakh rupees. Shop owner Vijay Kumar Verma said that he closed the shop on Saturday and on Sunday he did not open the shop due to the lockdown. When he opened the shop on Monday morning, he saw that the asbestos on the roof of the shop was cut.  The CCTV camera installed in the shop was also switched off due to some reason. Vijay Verma alias Rudra Verma lives near Jugsalai Seva Sadan Hospital.
