Jamshedpur, Sep 13: A bike-riding teacher died on Monday morning after being hit by an unknown vehicle on NH-33 located in Dimna Chowk of Ulidih police station area. He died on the spot itself. Police rushed to the spot and sent the body for postmortem. The teacher had come to his village on Saturday and was on his way back to school today when the accident happened.
The deceased was identified as Surya Narayan Kundu (52), a resident of Pavada village of Narsinghgarh in Dhalbhumgarh. He was a government school teacher at Bundu. According to family members, he had left home to go to Bundu around 5 in the morning. An unknown vehicle coming from the front caught him at Dimna Chowk. After the incident, the driver fled from the spot with the vehicle. After the accident, a crowd of people gathered at the spot.
