Two jailed in Sonari robbery and assault case

Jamshedpur: Sonari police here on Wednesday arrested two persons, identified as Rohit and Sonu Kumar, in connection with a case of robbery and assault in a shop belonging to one Ajay Kumar of Ramnagar. The accused persons were sent to judicial custody. The incident reportedly took place on 29th September midnight. The accused persons had allegedly attacked Ajay at his shop. Ajay had sustained severe head injury in the incident. The accused persons had looted Rs 7000 from the shop, police said. Another accused in the case, Sumit, is at large, police said.
