Jamshedpur, April 9: A tent house staff was severely injured after a speedy car hit his bicycle from behind near old court on DC office road on Sunday morning.
Resident of Sankosai Road No. 5 under Olidih Police Station area in Mango, Pramod Ravi Das suffered a fractured leg and severe injuries in other parts of the body. Police soon arrived at the spot and arrested the accused Raman and seized his car. Injured Das was rushed to MGM Hospital by the onlookers.
According to reports, Pramod Ravi Das works at Das tent and was on his way home when the speedy car (BR19A/0375) driver by Raman, a resident of Baridih hit him from behind.
The accused works at centre For Excellence. In another incident, a chandil resident Tarnichandra Mahato was injured after an unidentified vehicle hit his bike on Dimna Road on Sunday morning.
Mahato was returning home from Bhilaipahari when the incident took place. The injured is being treated at MGM Hospital.
