Saraikela: A team of Seraikela police led by SDPO Avinash Kumar busted two illegal distilleries in Nuwagaon under Seraikela police station area on Sunday. Cops seized 120 litres of mahua liquor from the house of Sudhir Mahato. They confiscated 90 litres of hooch from the house of Ram Shankar Nayak in the same locality. Three cartons of 40 kilogram chemicals used in distillation of liquor. Coins worth Rs 16,108 were also seized from the possession of accused persons.
The team members included Inspector BN Jha and sub inspector Anil Ojha.
