Potka: A programme on Jhumar music was organized in Juri Pahari village under Hensra panchayat of Potka on Sunday under the aegis of Zila Parishad member Chandrawati Mahato. Addressing the gathering, Mahato said such cultural events help bolster communal harmony in the village. He said such events should be organized regularly. He praised the villagers for their spirit of serving the people and preserving their culture.
A scintillating Jhumar music performance was given by Deepak Mahato and team. A large number of people thronged the venue to enjoy the event. Among those present during the programme included Sukumar Gope, Vishnu Gope, Anil Gope, Bablu Gope, Meghnad Gope, Suraj Gope, Prakash Gope, Rupa Gope and Mohit Gope.
