Two health workers, elderly injured in road mishap near Jamshedpur

Seraikela, Sept. 7: Two women health workers and one elderly were seriously injured in road mishap on Hata-Chaibasa Main road near Khokro Village under Rajnagar Police Station about 15 km from Jamshedpur on Monday morning.� Injured woman health worker and elderly were brought to Rajnagar Community Health Centre by police patrolling vehicle.

According reports, injured Anjali Agarwal and Pratibha Narayan who were on their scooter are health worker in Community Health Centre in Rajnagar. On their way to Rajnagar from Hata a speeding bike hit their scooter from the back and biker fled towards Chaibasa. Both the health workers lost control and hit the bicycle rider elderly and fell down. In the incident both the women health workers and elderly were injured. The elderly Kamalpati Mahato is a resident of Balijudi in Rajnagar.�

All the injured were lucky that at the time of the accident no heavy vehicle was plying on the road otherwise major accident might have taken place. Soon after the incident police reached the spot and the injured were rushed to Rajnagar Community Health Centre. Doctor at CHC informed that both the health workers have suffered injuries on their legs while the elderly has been hurt on his head. �
