Jamshedpur: In a successful operation, the police have apprehended two individuals engaged in illegal drug trade from the Ulidih police station area of Mango, Jamshedpur. During the arrest, authorities confiscated 370 grams of ganja and 1.45 grams of brown sugar from the suspects. Additionally, a country-made pistol along with ammunition was also seized from their possession.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Suraj Kuntiya, a resident of Tribal Club Bada Light Ulidih, and another individual residing on Sagar Majumdar Sharma Line Shiv Mandir Road Ulidih. Both suspects are natives of the Ulidih police station area.
Acting on a tip-off received by Jamshedpur’s SSP Kishore Kaushal regarding the alleged smuggling of brown sugar near the tribal club Bada Light, police conducted a swift raid leading to the apprehension of the two suspects. However, it is reported that one youth managed to evade capture and is currently being pursued by law enforcement personnel.
