Gamharia: Seraikela-Kharsawan police arrested two alleged criminals with a loaded gun and two bullets near Usha Martin company in Gamharia. Those arrested were identified as Bheem Yadav and Rohit Mahato, both local residents.
According to Jai Prakash Rana, officer in-charge of Gamharia police station, the accused persons were arrested following recovery of arms from their possession during an anti-arms checking.
“A police team nabbed the two on suspicion after they were spotted near the company. On seeing the police, the two started running away which raised suspicion about their presence near the company. The two had earlier looted cash and valuables from truck drivers and cleaners near the company gate on 10th August last. They were again planning similar crime, but we foiled their design just in time,” said the OC.
Police also recovered a plastic gun from the possession of the accused persons. An FIR has been lodged against the two in this connection.
