Jharkhand State Youth Intuc organizes two-day seminar on Youth Day
Jamshedpur: Jharkhand State Youth Intuc organized a seminar on the occasion of International Youth Day on Sunday. Several youths working for social welfare were felicitated by the guests. They included Sindhu Hansda, Ram Mardi, Purvi Dutta, Manju Das, Aruna Mukhi, Dolly Dutta and Madhubala Devi.
A pledge was taken to prevent the youths from becoming victims of addiction and it was decided to publicize the ideology of Congress party among the people.
The chief guest of the occasion was the national secretary of Intuc cum president of Jusco Shramik Union Raghunath Pandey. He said there was no dearth of energetic and able leaders in Youth Intuc who have the potential to bring about a revolutionary change in the state. He further said that may people supporting BJP’s ideology had entered Intuc. Such people should be shown the door, he said.
Also present on the occasion, district Congress president Vijay Khan said youths had a big responsibility on their shoulders. The youths should keep themselves away from addiction and should work in the larger interest of society and organization, he said.
The Intuc leaders said the Youth Intuc and Youth Congress activists should hold demonstration at the Jamshedpur Collectorate at least once every month to raise various labour issues. The participation of youths and women should be increased to strengthen the organization, said state Youth Intuc president Shailesh Pandey.
Presiding over the programme, Pandey said the Youth Intuc should increase its activities all over Jharkhand.
Among others present at the seminar included Rakesh Sahu, Pawan Kumar Bablu, DN Pandey, Arun Tripathy, Mukesh Yadav, Vinay Mishra, Ranjan Pandey, Kamlesh Pandey, Raja Pandey, Bijendra Kumar, RJ Prasunna and DK Singh.
