Jamshedpur: Under the anti-drug campaign initiated by Jamshedpur Police, Telco Police arrested two individuals with 3 kg of ganja worth Rs 1.5 lakh on Wednesday night.
During a press briefing, City SP Kumar Subhashish informed that while patrolling near the Jemco bus stand, the police spotted two suspects on a scooty attempting to flee. After a brief chase, they were apprehended near Salghudhi Gate. A search led to the recovery of 3 kg 66 grams of ganja, three mobile phones and the scooty.
The arrested individuals were identified as Chandrashekhar Kumar Singh from Barigoda and Amit Kumar alias Bablu from Kewal Town. Both have been sent to jail.
