Two arrested in illegal liquor manufacturing unit in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Mar 20: Jamshedpur excise unit had a major success by detecting an illegal liquor manufacturing unit in Mango on Saturday. 
A team of excise unit raided a thatched house in Kunwar Basti in Mango and nabbed two youths who were working in the unit and recovered 60 litres of illegal liquor worth Rs 5 lakh and also recovered spirit used in making liquor. 
The owner of the factory is absconding. 
Police have also recovered stickers of branded company liquor made from Bengal and Odisha and bottle caps. Police destroyed the empty liquor bottles. According to locals, the unit was functional for the last one month. 
The excise unit also arrested seven persons for selling illegally liquor at Jadugora, Chakulia and Potka areas on Friday.
