Two arrested for duping unemployed youths in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Feb 21: City police arrested two persons including a woman for allegedly duping people in the name of employment.

According to Prabhat Kumar, Superintendent of Police, City, the accused persons used to cheat people by assuring to get their lucrative jobs in various companies. �The accused duo had opened a company with the name of �Glaze India Private Limited�. The company was being run for the last several years, but it thrived only on cheating,� he said.

The SP said the accused used to call unsuspective village youths to the city and charge them Rs 20,000 for providing them jobs. The youths were kept at an isolated place and were not allowed to go anywhere, he said.

The SP said he had recently received a complaint about the accused persons running their company in Govindpur. A special team was set up to crack down on the fake company.
