Jamshedpur, July 1: Lightning killed an ox and a buffalo in separate incidents under Tonto panchayat of West Singhbhum on Friday.
Sources said the incident occurred when lightning suddenly struck the animals in Topebera village. The ox belonged to Kanu Laguri while the buffalo belonged to Gardy Laguri of Diurisai. Local villagers informed the Mukhiya through area Ward Member about the incident. They said they would soon hand over a memorandum to the Mukhiya as advised by him.
