Chandil: People thronged markets at Ichagarh with the beginning of Tusu festival on Wednesday. Tusu idols of various sizes were sold out at busy weekly markets.
The idols and decorative items were available in the price range of Rs 20 � Rs 12,000. Along with the decorative pieces the devotees also bought Gur, oil, Til, clothes and other items at the market places.
Tomorrow people will throng on the river bank to take holy dips which is a tradition of the festival. On the occasion the households would prepare Pitha and other mouthwatering dishes to celebrate the festival.
Devotees will queue up at Mahadev Ghat Shiv Temple, Tikar Budha Baba, Chaturmukhi Shiva Temple, at the old Jain Temple and at the Shiva Temple at Pamia.
