Govt to develop quality road network across Jharkhand: Raghubar Das

Jamshedpur: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that State Government will speed up development and for this all necessary steps will be taken up.

The government will work towards sort out unemployment problem on a priority basis while quality road network will be developed in Jharkhand.

CM Raghubar Das stated this after returning to Jamshedpur from Chattisgarh. Das met Union Minister for Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari in Raipur and discussed the issue of building quality road network in Maoist infested areas in Jharkhand.

Das added that Government would chalk out ambitious plan for developing road network across Jharkhand. Das said that quality roads would be laid in such a way that they would connect villages and I important cities in the State.

In the meantime anticipations have again started doing the rounds on the next cabinet expansion and who would be fortunate enough to bag a seat in the new cabinet. According to sources cabinet expansion might take place soon, latest by January 20.

Answering the queries of the media at his residence, Das today said that Cabinet expansion would not be delayed and take place soon. He, however, declined to reveal as to on which date the cabinet expansion will take place stating it will be done before long.

Sharing his views on pending development, Das said termed his visit at Vibrant Gujarat Summit, at Gandhinagar, Gujarat, a great learning experience. He stressed on the need holding investment summits in Jharkhand on the lines of Gujarat Summit. It would help create an investor friendly environment in Jharkhand by showcasing investment opportunities in the State, Das said.

The CM went on to add, “Our government would take steps to bring investors to Jharkhand to create an investor-friendly climate. Developing infrastructure will be our first priority. Quality roads are utmost necessity for progress and development.

We want to develop quality road network across Jharkhand and there would not be any laxity in connecting road network.”
