Baharagora: A cluster meeting was organized at the Panchayat Secretariat to detect symptoms of tuberculosis among people residing in villages under the Manushmuria Sub Health Centre. The meeting was chaired by Sahaiya Saathi Papiya Bhol.
This drive is a part of the Tuberculosis (TB) Free Baharagora program. An awareness drive commenced immediately after the meeting. Every hose in the villages would be inspected for symptoms of the disease. Sputum tests will be conducted and people found to be suffering from the disease would be provided free treatment at government health centres.
STC Dhananjay Mahto, REACH consultant Krishnendu Ghosh, MPW Mahesh Hansda, Sahaiya Rashmi Mandal, Rabina Kisku, Chhabi Manna, Ranu Mahto, Shobha Rani Mahapatra, Swapna Bala, Krishna Bhol and Shibani Giri addressed the meet.
