TSUISL contract worker dies in Tata Steel loco shop in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Jan 30:  A contract worker of Deep Transport Co  the subcontractor of Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Ltd,(TSUISL) Bebi Mandal (44) who was on ‘D’ Shift and working at the Loco Repair shop inside the Tata Steel Jamshedpur works fell unconscious on Saturday. Co workers rushed her to the First Aid Station inside the works from where she was taken to TATA Main Hospital where doctors declared her dead at 12:30 pm. She did not meet with any accident while inside the plant and the cause of death is stated to be a “medical case”.

Bebi’s body has been sent for postmortem and the exact cause of her death will be known after the autopsy report arrives. Meanwhile Factory Inspector Vineet Kumar reached the spot of occurance and gathered details of the deceased’s medical history and noted statements of her co workers. Bebi Mandal was a resident of Baridih.
