Noamundi: Tata Steel Rural Development Society (TSRDS) has selected 50 youths from the surrounding villages of Noamundi Iron ore and Katamati Mines for trekking in the Himalayas. The shortlisted youths will be given special training in Uttar Kashi.
The mountaineering team will be led by The Head of Tata steel Adventure Foundation Bachhendri Paul who is also the victorious by reaching the highest peak of Mount Everest.
The team will set out on 5th June from Noamundi Railway station by Jan Shatabdi express to Jamshedpur and in the next morning they will proceed to Uttar Kashiby UttkalExpress The participants were given special direction By TSRDS on Friday to possess the necessary equipment including warm cloths, sports shoes, water bottle, and trekking goggle on the adventures journey.
